Description
Did a school of piranha devour flesh down to the bone of a busload of passengers that crashed in an Amazonian river? Did a huge catfish attack a teenager in a German lake? Over the ages, myths have been spun that fish have actually preyed on man. These legends have found their way into tales, literature, folklore and now television.
In this seven-part series for Animal Planet, biologist and extreme angler Jeremy Wade traveled worldwide to solve these freshwater mysteries, to resolve these myths and to track down these legendary tales.
Kiss My Pixel were commissioned to create a graphic brand to package this ravenous series. Each episode contained graphic profiles of all the potential killers, analyzing size comparisons, specific predation techniques and the specimens biology.
A stylized Titles sequence was crated which seamlessly blended into a programme specific pre titles which was graded and styled.
HD Maps were created to give both a world wide view of the killers range, alongside specific close-up location maps. ISF Plates, Stings, Bumpers and branded astons were also designed to complete a branded graphics package.
The series was co-produced for Channel 5 in the UK, and consequently had graphics reversioned for there specific requirements.
